Financial
Crisis by Henry W. Meers
As we watch one of the most severe financial crises since the 1930’s
unfold before our eyes, it might be worthwhile to find out where it came from. One
thing never to be forgotten is dislocations of this size never come out of thin
air or a regional dislocation, they have to come from Washington; and that makes
them national, political concerns. If “real estate is location, location, location”,
how come the whole country is in financial trouble for holding mortgages?
